Job Description

As a VP Finance, your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing financial operations to ensure compliance with SFC Type 1 FRR requirements.
• Overseeing accounting and finance functions, including reporting and budgeting processes.
• Developing and implementing financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support financial decision-making.
• Monitoring and managing risks related to financial operations.
• Providing leadership and guidance to the finance team to enhance performance.
• Staying updated on industry regulations and financial trends to ensure compliance and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful VP Finance should have:

• A strong background in accounting and finance, particularly within the financial services industry.
• CPA Qualified
• Experience working at a brokerage firm
• Big 4 Trained is a plus
• Proficiency in managing compliance with SFC Type 1 requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong financial regulations and standards.
