Description
Responsibilities:- Initiate and maintain coverage on a portfolio of healthcare companies (Biotech, Pharma, MedTech, or Services).
- Go beyond the consensus by analyzing clinical trial data, regulatory pathways (FDA/EMA), and reimbursement landscapes.
- Develop and maintain detailed three-statement models, including DCF, NPV for drug pipelines, and relative valuation metrics.
- Conduct high-conviction research reports, "deep-dives," and flash notes on earnings or clinical catalysts.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in Equity Research (Buy-side or Sell-side), specifically focused on the Healthcare sector.
- A relevant advanced degree is highly preferred (e.g., MD, PhD in Life Sciences, PharmD, or an MBA with a healthcare focus).
- CFA charterholder or progress toward the designation is a significant plus.
- Mastery of Excel-based financial modeling and Bloomberg Terminal/FactSet.
- Ability to distill complex clinical data into actionable investment advice for sophisticated institutional clients.
