Full-time, Permanent Position
38 Hours Onsite (Mon-Fri)

Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for an expert Electrical Maintenance Lead to join our Engineering team at Leven. This hands-on role is key to ensuring our equipment runs safely, reliably, and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality planned preventative maintenance and supporting operational performance.
Additionally, you will manage the safe execution of projects and improvements through adherence to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), Permit to Work (PTW) processes, and the coordination of external contractors when required.
Top Accountabilities:
- At all times adhere to Diageo health and safety, environmental and food safety standards, and work to all applicable legislative procedures. Responsible for Safe Systems of work.
- Supports delivery of Electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to agreed schedules and standards. Coaches wider team to drive continuous improvement in electrical maintenance planning and execution.
- Working collaboratively with craft and operators to support autonomous maintenance and improve equipment performance.
- Support capital work, including installation, commissioning and testing within area as required. Responsible for feeding into equipment design assessment processes, and early equipment management.
- Uses data to identify poor performing assets and review Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) activity to preserve good operation of our plant, machines and processes.
You'll be successful in this role if you:
- Have completed a recognised apprenticeship and/or hold an HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- Have experience working as a maintenance engineer in FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced environment
- Have strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Understand preventative maintenance and the importance of asset care
- Are comfortable using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Take safety seriously. Have knowledge about risk standards (Quality, Health & Safety, and Environment), as well as safety and hygiene compliance procedures
- Are reliable, organised, and able to respond positively to operational demands
- Have a good understanding of process and packaging automation within a manufacturing environment, including functional safety systems
