Deco Pattern Service Operator
Wilsonart,Temple, Texashas an immediate opening for a Houser Operator . This individual obtain raw materials to be collated at specified lengths as determined by the Product Quality Department. Makesure machine is running properly at all times. Performs other tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain daily inventory needs from Phenolic Checker or Team Lead
- Visually inspect rolls for damage, discard any damaged paper in the appropriate waste can.
- Continually monitor raw materials for visual quality and line-up, make any necessary adjustments .
- Thread machine up; make splices and re-thread machine as needed .
- Change out pallets and make sure corresponding tags are placed in each completed pallet
- Make sure all computer work and paper work is completed .
- Set up rolls for oncoming crew
- Regular Attendance Required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Operation of equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
- Knowledge of the safety standards applicable to the Production areas and other pertinent rules / regulations governing work standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: High School Graduate or GED
EXPERIENCE: Have at least 6 months Contech experience. If no applicants possess, the company will accept one (1) year experience in Phenolic/Core area.
WORKING CONDITIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Heavy work. Tasks involves pushing / pulling of material up to 100lbs, lifting up to 85lbs from floor to mid-thigh, lift up to 50lbs from mid-thigh to shoulder, lift 40lbs from shoulder to overhead, carry up to 135lbs and standing and walking during a minimum ten hour shift
