Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Creative Specialist - Video Producer with advanced expertise in video production, live streaming, and multi-platform content creation. This role is responsible for producing dynamic video content (both live and recorded) that supports enterprise communications, recruiting initiatives, major company events, and more, often in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.
What You Will Do:
- Create informative and engaging video content, including studio productions, field shoots, interview-based content, and multi-camera setups.
- Manage live streaming events end-to-end, including platform configuration, run-of-show development, technical setup, encoding workflows, stream monitoring, and real-time troubleshooting.
- Plan, produce, and execute live video experiences, including town halls, large meetings, global broadcasts, and corporate summits
- Operate and maintain professional video, audio, and streaming equipment, including switchers, operated and PTZ cameras, capture cards, encoders, lighting systems, audio consoles, and intercom systems.
- Create visually compelling storytelling elements to support a wide range of communication needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to transform project needs into creative, technically feasible, effective video concepts.
- Support on-site and remote productions, ensuring high-quality output across broadcast, web, enterprise platforms, and social channels.
- Adhere to the company's brand voice and appeal to the target audience to increase public engagement
What You Will Have:
- Advanced understanding of video production workflows, including pre-production planning, script development, storyboarding, shot composition, and post-production editing.
- Strong technical proficiency in live streaming technologies, such as RTMP/RTSP protocols, hardware/software encoders (Blackmagic ATEM, Tricaster, OBS, Wirecast), multi-bitrate streaming, and CDN platform management.
- Live event production experience working with internal teams and external vendors creating best-in-class visual support for corporate meetings, summits and experiences.
- Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions
- Collaborating: Skilled at unified teamwork with technical crews, creative partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Creativity: Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations while solving production challenges efficiently
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to clearly articulate technical needs, production plans, and creative direction through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
- Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, executives, vendors, and peers
- Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills)
- Demonstrated ability to tell compelling stories through video, photography, and multimedia assets.
- Experience contributing to large-scale corporate events, summits, and complex live productions.
- Familiarity with AV/IT concepts such as NDI, SRT, network routing for live events, and hybrid event production.
- Experience delivering strategies and communications that effectively support change initiatives and alignment to organizational/business goals
- Experience as a strategic advisor to stakeholders including visual communications and developing presentations
- Proven ability to thrive within a complex, matrixed environment

- Consistently deliver high-quality video and live-event productions that run smoothly and meet stakeholder objectives
- Demonstrate strong creative and technical judgment, proactively solving production challenges and continually improving workflows for both live and recorded content.
- Maintain a readiness-focused production environment by ensuring equipment, studio spaces, and streaming tools are consistently organized, reliable, and optimized.

- The primary location for this position is Irving, TX

Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
