Awell-established financial law firm in Brisbane is seeking an experiencedCommercial Lawyer to join their team. The role will befed work from other areas of the business but will require a "gogetter" eager to build client relationships and grow a commercial team.

Your new role
Youwill play a key role in the firm's commercial practice, managing a diverserange of matters while contributing to the strategic growth of the team. Thework is varied and includes:

Key Responsibilities

Managing commercial transactions for liquidators and receivers

Collaborating with the finance and securities team, with scope to expand into this area if aligned with your strengths

Operating autonomously while driving business development and client engagement

Building out the commercial practice area and shaping its future direction

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum 5 years PAE in commercial law

Strong technical skills across general commercial and transactional work

Ability to work independently and manage files with minimal supervision

A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset - a true "go-getter"

Excellent communication and client relationship skills
