Duration: 4 months - with possibility of extension
Key Responsibilities - Conduct holistic client reviews of High and Highest Risk Clients (including PEPs), performing detailed transaction analyses.
- Document and review all aspects of the client relationship to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Take appropriate compliance actions and implement risk mitigation and remediation measures as required.
- Review client data and related transactions from a compliance perspective, evaluating KYC accuracy, completeness, plausibility, and SoW corroboration.
- Escalate and document any issues identified, collaborating across all Lines of Defence and group affiliates to reduce the Bank's risk exposure in line with its risk appetite.
Qualifications - University degree in Law, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience in Legal, Compliance, or Audit functions at a globally operating bank.
- Strong knowledge of money laundering trends, international regulatory standards, and best practices.
- Proven analytical skills, with the ability to collect data, define complex problems, and draw valid conclusions.
- Solid understanding of global AML/CFT regulations, strong MS Office skills, advanced English proficiency, and any Compliance-related training (additional languages are an advantage).
