About the Role
The Business Development Analyst - BD CORE is an integral part of Latham's Business Development (BD) team. This role will be responsible for playing a key role in the seamless integration of administrative support and strategic analysis within the global BD department, while providing a high level of customer service to internal and external clients, managing expectations accurately and professionally. This role will be located in our Frankfurt office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Managing assigned service requests within the ServiceNow ticketing system from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to all service level agreements
- Utilizing a variety of Latham-specific tools and software to provide guidance or alternative solutions, aligning with clients' specific aims and enhancing service delivery
- Developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the firm's operational processes and strategic goals, ensuring that all deliverables consistently meet the highest standards of best practice
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of BD CORE offerings and collaborating with additional staff teams when appropriate to optimize business development efforts
- Supporting the global BD department with a suite of core services, including biography edits, client research and analysis, dossiers utilizing BoardEx, Pitchbook, and publicly available resources, as well as research for client seminars and client events, pitch materials, directory submissions, and newsletter support, CRM research, updates, and data entry, generating basic marketing collateral, updating and producing expense and invoice reports, and document conversion and formatting (Word and PowerPoint)
We'd love to hear from you if you:
- Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively
- Exhibit the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus and an interest in mentoring colleagues
And have:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably
- An advanced degree or professional certification in business, marketing, or a related field, preferably
- Relevant experience in professional services or a law firm, preferably
- Relevant experience in project management and leading initiatives, preferably
