About the Role

The Business Analyst (BA) acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams by analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value. The role involves understanding business processes, translating them into functional and non-functional requirements, and supporting the successful delivery of systems, products, or process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and data analysis
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, and operations teams
• Analyze and map business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
• Support solution design, UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
• Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist in change management, impact analysis, and stakeholder communication
• Produce and maintain documentation such as BRD, FRD, process flows, and system diagrams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
• Ability to create clear documentation (BRD, user stories, wireframes, process diagrams)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in specific industries (e.g., fintech, banking, insurance, e-commerce)'
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and system integrations
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SQL, BPMN, or UML
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, or product analytics platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
