My client is a global New York based hedge fund that is looking for a Business Analyst / Business Intelligence Developer to join their dynamic technology team and help shape the future of their data and analytics capabilities.

In this high-visibility role, you will build cutting-edge reporting and analytics solutions for their Real Estate and Advanced Analytics teams, working side-by-side with Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Analytics team.

This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact, driving smarter decisions across the firm and delivering insights that power their investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with business teams to uncover process inefficiencies and design automation that saves time and improves accuracy.
• Lead in-depth analysis of business workflows, assist with data cleanup, and deliver data for ad-hoc, time-sensitive requests.
• Collaborate with internal developers and application vendors to design, build, and integrate powerful, enterprise-wide solutions.
• Deliver analytics and reporting that support:
  • Senior Management decision-making
• Work effectively with offsite and offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Constantly enhance data accessibility and innovate dashboard capabilities to provide clearer, faster insights.

Requirements:

Proven track record of academic and professional excellence.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics,

3-5 years of relevant experience in the financial industry

Strong ability to conduct business analysis while managing and maintaining productive user relationships..

Proficiency in MS SQL, Python,

Hands-on experience with Power BI
