Job Summary:
Treasury team is responsible for the Group's liquidity management, portfolio investment, financial risk hedging, external banking relationship management as well as day-to-day treasury settlement operations. It develops and implements cash flow policies and procedures to ensure sufficient operational liquidity as well as proper investment of surplus funds.
Job Duties:
Job Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end treasury operations and settlements across all treasury activities, including documentation review, payment preparation, and transaction processing.
- Handle confirmation and settlement of MM, FX, interest rate derivatives, bonds, and repo transactions.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting daily cash inflows and outflows.
- Support bank account setup, maintenance, control, and associated documentation.
- Assist in administering online banking platforms, including user access management.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to test system enhancements, support system maintenance and implementation, conduct UAT, and follow up on issue resolution.
- Handle correspondence, inquiries, and requests from financial institutions.
- Support the preparation of internal reports, dashboards, and management information.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of desk instruction manuals to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
- Degree holder in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Treasury settlement business
- Familiar with settlement systems and common industry infrastructure such as - SWIFT, RTGS, eMBT, iCMT, CMU, Euroclear.
- Treasury settlement experience on end-to-end settlement flow for financial products from deal processing, event management, payment and GL processes
- Knowledge in financial products such as FX/MM, Notes/Bonds, IRS/CCS and FX Options
- Knowledge in Treasury systems
- Strong communication skills, risk awareness, pro-active, attentive to details, a good team player, able to collaborate effectively with other internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin a big plus
