Associate Attorney: Surety & Construction Litigation:

Seattle law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its growing litigation practice in surety, construction, and design professional claims. The firm’s client base includes institutional insurers, including sureties, contractors, and design professionals, whom it represents in mediation, arbitration, and litigation in federal and state courts throughout Washington and Oregon. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience, excellent writing and verbal communication skills, a license to practice law in the State of Washington, and the desire to work in a collaborative, collegial environment in a growing law practice. As a small firm, our attorneys handle matters directly, with real guidance from the partners and the resources to do excellent work. The firm provides a competitive salary and benefits, with an opportunity to develop your skills inside and outside the courtroom. The salary range is $120,000–$140,000, depending on experience. The position is also eligible for discretionary merit bonuses based on production and other factors.  Benefits include health insurance, bar dues, CLEs, paid leave.  This position is remote, with the ability to appear for in-person hearings in Washington and/or Oregon as needed.
