About the Firm
Whitten Law Office LLC (WLO), established over 20 years ago, is a multi-state firm primarily involved in transportation and insurance defense litigation. We are currently seeking attorneys in both our Indiana and Kentucky offices. Several of our attorneys have repeatedly received the “Super Lawyers” designation, among other industry designations, reflecting our commitment to superior client service. The remote work option allows attorneys to excel in their roles while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. WLO operates a very fast-paced practice, and our attorneys handle cases across Indiana and Kentucky.
Your Role in this Position
- Manage cases both pre- and post-suit
- Advise clients through consultations and develop legal strategies alongside senior attorneys
- Manage litigation flow and ensure compliance with litigation deadlines
- Manage timely reporting to clients consistent with client’s guidelines
- Manage discovery including significant interaction with clients
- Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials across Indiana and/or Kentucky
- Create legal documents, including briefs, motions, discovery, pleadings, affidavits, and settlement agreements
Compensation and Benefits
- $120,000 or higher depending on experience

Requirements
Requirements for the Position
- 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience (transportation defense preferred but not required)
- Must have IN license or KY license and dual licensure is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced but team-oriented environment
- Experience with investigations, pleadings, research, discovery, depositions, and mediations. Trial experience preferred but not required.
