Our securities practice represents small to mid-cap and high-growth companies in SEC compliance matters, including periodic reporting, capital raises, corporate governance, and state and federal securities law compliance. Our land use division represents developers, property owners, and investors in securing discretionary and ministerial permit approvals, navigating CEQA issues, and implementing proactive compliance strategies. Our litigation practice supports clients in regulatory disputes, land use conflicts, and complex business matters.
We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 1–5 years of experience as a licensed attorney to join our growing team.
Requirements
Support both the firm’s legal and transactional practices, including litigation, regulatory compliance, corporate advisory, and land use matters
Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and manage litigation matters in state court
Provide strategic legal analysis and practical business-oriented advice to clients
Assist with regulatory compliance matters, corporate governance, and transactional documentation
Collaborate with senior attorneys in developing case strategy and long-term client solutions
Transition into a more focused practice area over time based on demonstrated expertise, performance, and firm needs
Qualifications:
1–5 years of experience as a licensed attorney
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively, both orally and in writing
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in California and in good standing
Experience in cannabis, land use or securities law is beneficial but not required
