Shep Law Group (“SLG”), a successful personal injury, civil litigation and family law firm in Meridian, Idaho, is seeking an ambitious trial/litigation attorney to join the team and continue the growth and success of the Firm.  The applicant must possess exceptional legal research and writing skills and be willing to attend court hearings, argue motions and sit first or second chair for bench trials and jury trials.  Applicants should aspire to build his or her litigation practice and ultimately attain partnership at the Firm.  Most importantly, the applicant must share SLG’s values of (1) commitment to excellence for clients; (2) honesty and integrity in all phases of the practice of law; and (3) respectful and responsive communication with courts, clients and opposing parties and their counsel.  Applicants must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and with colleagues and staff.  Applicants must enjoy and thrive in opencourt settings as he or she will spend significant time in court.  SLG’s current need is predominantly in the areas of civil litigation, but there is also a need in family law and personal injury litigation depending on the attorney’s experience and desired practice areas.  Applicants must be licensed to practice law in the state of Idaho or be eligible to become licensed in Idaho.  Preference will be given to bilingual applicants and applicants who are also licensed in another state.  Compensation package begins at $129,000 annually with an opportunity for substantial production-based bonus pay.  Benefits include health insurance stipend and 401(k) retirement option with 3% firm match after the first year.  Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, recent writing sample and references.
