Tanzy & Borrego Law Offices is a well established bankruptcy law firm in El Paso, Texas.     Our two board certified attorneys seek an associate attorney to join our growing practice and continue to provide top notch legal representation to our clients. 

Associate Attorney's responsibilities include:

• Meeting with prospective clients, evaluating their financial situation and discussing bankruptcy solutions
• Attending creditor meetings
• Handling court hearings such as confirmation hearings and lift stay hearings
• Preparing and filing Responses and Motions in Court
• Conducting legal research as needed
• Maintain proper communication with clients, trustees and opposing counsel

Requirements

Job Requirements Include:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Texas
• Preferably admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas
• Preferably Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Enjoy meeting, helping and communicating with clients
• Must get along with other attorneys and staff
• Ability to handle a large case load
• Work Saturday mornings
