We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Golf Groundskeeper/ Superintendent to lead our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the golf course. A high degree of Agronomy skills is required to maintain the greens and fairways in pristine condition. Knowledge of pumps and water stations, sprinklers, computer systems is a must. Understanding all types of grass, and fertilization and aeration schedules and techniques necessary to produce and maintain an exceptional golf course is imperative. Don't apply unless you have at least five years experience in golf course maintenance. Duties
Perform regular daily oversight of all grounds staff and equipment
Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage across landscaped areas With a knowledge of the well and pump stations
Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping projects effectively.
Follow safety protocols while performing maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
five years minimum experience in golf course maintenance or groundskeeping is required. a strong knowledge of horticulture principles and practices is required
Experience using all golf course equipment is required
Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is required
