Overview

The Golf Shop Manager / Assistant Merchandiser at The
TwinEagles Club supports the daily operations of the Golf
Shop while assisting with the execution of the Club's
merchandising strategy and retail operation. This role
helps maintain a premium, Member-focused retail
experience that reflects the luxury standards of our Club.
Working closely with the Director of Golf, Merchandise
Manager, and Golf Professional TEAM, this position plays an
important role in managing the Golf Shop environment,
assisting with inventory management, supporting
merchandising initiatives, and ensuring exceptional service
at the Golf Shop counter.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention
to detail, retail awareness, and a commitment to hospitality
and service excellence.

Experience Required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in Golf Operations within a private country
  Club, luxury resort, or upscale hospitality setting is preferred.
• Proven record of delivering exceptional service and operational excellence in a hospitality-forward setting.
• Demonstrates strong personal accountability, takes ownership of responsibilities, and consistently leads by example in all aspects of the golf operation and beyond.
• Brings a deep appreciation for golf - its history, traditions, and business - and uses that passion to elevate the Members experience while fostering enjoyment and respect for the game at The TwinEagles Club.

Essential Responsibilities

Member Engagement & Hospitality

• Welcome and engage Members and their guests upon arrival to the Golf Shop, creating a friendly and inviting environment.
• Greet Members and guests promptly with a high level of professionalism and service.

Retail Knowledge & Sales Support

• Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently assist Members with purchasing decisions and retail inquiries.

Golf Shop Presentation

• Ensure the Golf Shop is consistently clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the Member experience.

Inventory & Retail Management

• Maintain accurate communication and records related to inventory, merchandise orders, and retail performance.

Operational Standards

• Adhere to all Golf Operation policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Respond promptly and professionally to Member questions, requests, or concerns.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with Members, guests, and fellow TEAM members.
• Maintain composure, professionalism, and a positive attitude during busy periods, tournaments, and Club events.
• Anticipate operational needs and address challenges proactively to support smooth daily operations.
