Overview

Black Hall is a private Golf Club in the Connecticut shoreline community of Old Lyme. As the top rated club in the area, Black Hall hosts many Championship events including the 2025 Connecticut Open and once again the CT PGA Championship in 2026. The golf centric experience that our members and guests enjoy is personal and professional. The Head Professional is entering his 25th year at Black Hall and is committed to mentoring his staff and to their growth.

As a member of our team, you will assist in all aspects of the golf operation including but not limited to: member relations, course play, tournaments, lessons, merchandising, staff management, training, playing, etc. You should to able to provide highly efficient and superior customer service while maintaining a smile and be a positive part of an appreciated and capable team.

Experience Required

PGA Member or Asscociate preferred

Private Club experience preferred

Proficient in Golf Genius preferred

Passion for playing golf and growing in the golf industry

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Golf and fellow team members in all aspects of the golf operation
• Greet and assist each golfer as needed, maintain relationships with all members of the club
• Assist in managing Outside Services staff; including scheduling, hiring & training
• Provide golf instruction as needed to all golfers as requested
• Manage club's Junior & Teen Golf Program
• Market and promote each club event to the Membership
• Assist in administration of tournament operations
• Lend support as needed to all other facets of the club including F&B, Greens, Membership and Office Staff
