Position Summary: The Full-Time Animal Care Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily animal care across all organizational cat locations, ensuring consistently high standards of welfare, cleanliness, and safety. This role supervises a team of 2–4 Animal Care Assistants and works closely with the Executive Director, Founder, and Medical Director to uphold and enforce all established SOPs and care protocols.

Works onsite in person at the Lincoln Shelter, Petsmart adoption facilities and cat café location
Responsible for all aspects of animal care within the organization. Oversees a team of 2-4 animal care assistants.
Responsible for ensuring the highest quality of animal care at all times at all cat locations.
Works closely with the Executive Director, founder, and Medical Director to ensure all SOPs and protocols are current and enforced.
Maintains the maintenance of the shelter building, 2nd Chance Ranch, Bucks Barn and memorial garden.
Coordinate routine maintenance needs and facility repairs with vendors or internal staff.
Enforce adherence to safety, medical, and operational guidelines among all staff and volunteers.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Mathematical Ability:
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Excellent ability to use multiple animal care databases and platforms. Ability to have high communication skills relating to communication methods including email, text message, and phone calls.
Certificates and Licenses: Associates degree is a minimum qualification; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees in the Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
